Travel & Stay

We're so excited to celebrate with you in Hawaiʻi! Whether you're making a quick weekend trip or turning it into a vacation, we hope you enjoy your stay.

Airport

Daniel K. Inouye International Airport (HNL)

HNL is Oʻahu's primary airport and is approximately:

  • 20–25 minutes from Waikīkī

  • 25–30 minutes from Ka Laʻi Estate

  • 30–40 minutes from Kapolei (traffic dependent)

Where to stay?

Because everyone travels differently, we aren't reserving a hotel block. Hawaiʻi offers accommodations for every budget, and we recommend booking the hotel or resort that best fits your travel style.

Waikīkī

If you'd like to experience Oʻahu's beaches, shopping, restaurants, and nightlife. The wedding venue is approximately 8 miles (about a 20–30 minute drive) from Waikīkī.

Some of our favorites:

  • 'Alohilani Resort Waikīkī Beach

  • Waikīkī Beach Marriott Resort

  • Sheraton Waikīkī Beach Resort

West Oʻahu

Looking for a more relaxed resort experience with beautiful lagoons, golf, and family-friendly accommodations. The wedding venue is approximately 34 miles away (about a 45–60 minute drive depending on traffic).

Kapolei

  • Hampton Inn & Suites Oʻahu/Kapolei

  • Embassy Suites by Hilton Oʻahu Kapolei

Ko Olina

  • Four Seasons Resort Oʻahu at Ko Olina

  • Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club

How to get around?

We highly recommend renting a car during your stay.

While rideshare services like Uber and Lyft are readily available, having your own vehicle makes it much easier to explore the island at your own pace.

If you're staying in Waikīkī, parking can be an additional expense, so be sure to check with your hotel before booking a rental car.
